We work to strengthen community leadership, connect people and build networks where knowledge, experience and opportunities can be shared.
This can include developing emerging community leaders, mentoring the next generation, building local capability, strengthening community networks and supporting people to develop projects, programs and initiatives that create impact.
Learning by Doing
We believe leadership is developed through experience, not just workshops.
Our programs can combine practical workshops, real challenges and projects, one on one coaching, mentoring, peer learning, retreats, community building and connections with First Nations leaders, professionals and other experts.
Participants have opportunities to apply what they are learning to their own business, organisation, workplace or community.
Our Experience
First Innovators has delivered leadership, business and personal development programs with First Nations women, young people, entrepreneurs, emerging leaders and communities across Australia.
More than 120 First Nations women have participated in our women’s business and leadership programs across South Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory, alongside our broader work in youth development, business coaching, mentoring and community programs.
We use that experience to design programs around the people, organisation and community we are working with rather than applying the same model everywhere.
