What is IndigiPitch?

IndigiPitch helps First Nations businesses understand their funding options, strengthen their readiness and build practical pathways towards the funding and opportunities that can support their growth.

The program is built around a simple idea: businesses need the right funding at the right time.

Through two stages of workshops, coaching, mentoring, industry expertise and connections, we help businesses understand the funding landscape, strengthen what they need to become ready and take practical steps towards funding opportunities.

You don’t have to navigate it alone.

Stage 2: Connecting to Funding Opportunities

Stage 2 takes a smaller group of businesses through a more intensive pathway focused on connecting them with funding opportunities.

Businesses receive focused coaching, mentoring and expert support to strengthen their funding proposition, develop their campaign and materials, prepare their pitch and make connections across the funding and investment ecosystem.

The pathway includes an intensive workshop, online group sessions, individual support, campaign development and launch, impact investing connections and pitch development and practice.

Stage 2 culminates in the IndigiPitch Pitch Night, where businesses can showcase the unique and exciting things they are building.

It is an opportunity to share their business, story, impact and funding aspirations, make connections and open doors to funding, partnerships and other opportunities.

Wider Community Workshops

IndigiPitch will also include workshops open to the wider First Nations business community, extending the program’s impact beyond the businesses participating in the two stages.

Workshops include:

• Grant Writing for Funding
• First Nations Innovation

These sessions provide more First Nations businesses with access to practical knowledge, tools and support that can help strengthen their businesses and pursue new opportunities.

The Impact

Success will look different for every business.

It might mean finding the right grant, becoming ready to pursue funding, strengthening your business or financials, funding a new project, developing an investment campaign or making valuable new connections.

We want businesses to leave IndigiPitch with greater knowledge, capability and confidence, a clearer understanding of the funding opportunities available and a practical pathway for what to do next.
